Service Description

Learn the foundational skills of knitting while creating the Free for All Cowl by Jennifer Peck. This beginner-friendly project is perfect for new knitters—gauge isn’t important, and only one skein of yarn is needed. Throughout the class, you will learn how to cast on using a provisional cast-on, work the knit and purl stitches, make two simple increases and two simple decreases, and finish your cowl with a polished Kitchener stitch cast-off. The perfect class to learn to knit for beginners or those looking to refresh the basics with a simple, satisfying project. What You’ll Learn: Provisional cast-on Knit stitch and purl stitch Two beginner-friendly increases Two beginner-friendly decreases Kitchener stitch cast-off Supply List: Needles: US 8 / 5 mm circular needles with a 16" cable Yarn: Worsted-weight yarn, 200–250 yards (185–230 m) **Kits: Available from the instructor for $20.
