Get ready to sew something as fun as it is functional! In this beginner-friendly class, students will create their very own whimsical drawstring backpack, choosing between an adorable bunny, buzzy bumble bee, or playful dinosaur design. Perfect for everyone, this class introduces essential sewing skills in a supportive, creative environment. Students will learn how to read a sewing pattern, properly pin and cut their fabric, and build confidence using the sewing machine. Along the way, they’ll practice sewing straight lines, navigating curves, and adding a lining for a clean, professional finish. By the end of the class, each student will leave with a one-of-a-kind backpack they’ll be proud to use every day... because who doesn’t love a little whimsy? Required Supplies: *For Bunny Design: 1 Pom-Pom 1/2 Meter of outside fabric 1/2 Meter of lining fabric (for the inside of the bag) 3 Meters of Drawstring Thread to match *For Dino Design: 0.2 Meters of fabric for Spikes - or you can use the same fabric as your lining 1/2 Meter of outside fabric 1/2 Meter of lining fabric (for the inside of the bag) 3 Meters of Drawstring Thread to match * For Bumble Bee Design: 1/2 Meter of outside fabric - striped 1/2 Meter of lining fabric (for the inside of the bag) 0.3 Meters of fabric for the wings 3 Meters of Drawstring Thread to match *** Suggested fabrics: Canvas or thicker fabric for the outside of the bag Quilting cotton for the lining/ spikes/ inside of ears/ wings

Cancellation Policy
Because class sizes are small and preparation begins in advance, the following policy applies to all bookings: More than 14 days before the class: Students may cancel for a full refund or transfer their registration to another date (if available). 8–14 days before the class: Students are eligible for a 50% refund or may transfer their spot to another class date. 7 days or less before the class: Cancellations are non-refundable and the student forfeits their spot. Transfers If you cannot attend, you may transfer your registration to another person at no additional cost (please notify us in advance). Illness or Emergencies If you are ill, please contact us as soon as possible. At our discretion, we may offer a one-time class credit toward a future workshop.
