Love fashion? Ready to design your own outfit? This spring break, turn an oversized shirt into something totally amazing! In this hands-on Mini Designer Upcycle Spring Break Camp, you’ll take a men’s or women’s oversized shirt and transform it into a brand-new look—like a cool two-piece outfit or a stylish dress. You’ll sketch ideas, cut fabric, and bring your design to life just like a real fashion designer. Along the way, you’ll learn how to use a sewing machine, finish edges with a serger (a pro sewing tool!), and customize your outfit so it fits you perfectly. You’ll also discover how designers can upcycle clothing and turn old pieces into something fresh and fashionable. Just bring one oversized shirt to use for your design—everything else will be provided. By the end of camp, you’ll walk away with: Your own custom-designed outfit Awesome new sewing and fashion design skills A cool new way of thinking about sustainable fashion If you love being creative, designing clothes, or trying something new, this camp is for you. Cancellation Policy
Because class sizes are small and preparation begins in advance, the following policy applies to all bookings: More than 14 days before the class: Students may cancel for a full refund or transfer their registration to another date (if available). 8–14 days before the class: Students are eligible for a 50% refund or may transfer their spot to another class date. 7 days or less before the class: Cancellations are non-refundable and the student forfeits their spot. Transfers If you cannot attend, you may transfer your registration to another person at no additional cost (please notify us in advance). Illness or Emergencies If you are ill, please contact us as soon as possible. At our discretion, we may offer a one-time class credit toward a future workshop.
